The Tennessean has released its All-Midstate high school boys and girls lacrosse teams for 2024 along with the players and coaches of the year.
The Nashville area claimed four of six championships this year, with Harpeth Hall winning the Tennessee Girls Lacrosse Association Private School title and Page winning the TGLA Public School title. Brentwood won the Tennessee Scholastic Lacrosse Association Division I-AA boys title and Page captured the TSLA DI-A boys title.

Boys
Cole Eggleton
Page | Sr.
Position: Attack
Why chosen: Eggleton scored 59 goals, to go with 41 assists, 63 ground balls and 11 takeaways to help guide Page to its first state title.
Hadyn Gross
Nolensville | Jr.
Position: Attack
Why chosen: Gross scored 46 goals to go with 26 assists and was an All-Region and All-League selection, helping Nolensville finish as the Division I-AA state runner-up.
Parker Shanks
CPA | So.
Position: Attack
Why chosen: Shanks scored 64 goals and tallied 21 assists for the Division II-A/AA state runner-up Lions.
Cade Sturdivant
MBA | So.
Position: Attack
Why chosen: Sturdivant finished with 26 goals, 45 assists, 31 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. He was an All-League selection.
Sean Gaca
Franklin | Jr.
Position: Midfield
Why chosen: Gaca scored 22 goals, to go with 35 assists, 83 ground balls and 15 takeaways, helping the Admirals finish 15-2 and reach the state semifinals.
Brocks Petterson
Brentwood | Sr.
Position: Midfielder
Why chosen: Petterson scored a team-high 50 goals for Brentwood as it repeated as the Division I-AA state champion. He had two goals in a 6-4 win over Nolensville in the state final. He also had 15 assists, 62 ground balls and 19 takeaways on the season.
Charlie Schultz
Hillsboro | Jr.
Position: Midfielder
Why chosen: Schultz scored 44 goals, with 17 assists and 81 ground balls for the Division I-A state runner-up Burros. He was named All-District and All-League.
Wyatt Stany
Father Ryan | Jr.
Position: Midfielder
Why chosen: Stany scored 44 goals, with 32 assists and 75 ground balls. He was named All-Region and All-League.
Mac Baker
Brentwood | Sr.
Position: Defender
Why chosen: Baker had 47 ground balls and 30 takeaways for the state champion Bruins.
Brayden Gonzales
Independence | Sr.
Position: Defender
Why chosen: Gonzales had 58 ground balls, 48 takeaways and one goal. He set the program record for most takeaways in a season and most in a career.

JT Lane
MBA | Jr.
Position: Defender
Why chosen: Lane had 54 ground balls, 52 caused turnovers to go with two goals and an assist.
Simon King
Franklin | Sr.
Position: Goalkeeper
Why chosen: King had 170 saves and one shutout on the year for the Admirals (15-2) while maintaining a 70% save rate.

Coach of the year
Colin Hart
Brentwood
Why chosen: Hart guided the Bruins to their second consecutive Division I-AA state championship. Brentwood went 9-9 and overcame a four-game losing streak early in the season, avenging losses to league rivals Franklin and Nolensville in the playoffs. Hart played for Brentwood when it won the 2008 state title.

Why chosen: The Coastal Carolina signee scored 75 goals with 11 assists, eight caused turnovers and 19 ground balls for the private school state runner-up Tigers.

Why chosen: The Duke signee scored 54 goals, with 30 assists, 15 caused turnovers and 45 ground balls.
Grace Hasselbeck

Why chosen: The Vanderbilt signee scored 46 goals, to go with 25 assists, 18 caused turnovers and 30 ground balls.
Taylor McCall

Why chosen: The William and Mary signee scored 92 goals, with 24 assists, 25 caused turnovers and 35 ground balls. She also had 67 draw controls.

Why chosen: The Dartmouth signee scored 95 goals and added 51 assists, 18 caused turnovers, 49 ground balls and 75 draw controls.

Why chosen: The University of Alabama signee scored 80 goals, adding 10 assists, 31 caused turnovers, 50 ground balls and 65 draw controls.

Position: Midfield
Why chosen: Roberts scored 76 goals with 27 assists. She was named All-Region and All-State.
Gracie Lucas

Why chosen: The Vanderbilt commitment finished with 20 caused turnovers and 30 ground balls.
Taylor Ward

Position: Defender
Why chosen: Ward had 31 ground balls and 23 draw controls, while netting 10 goals and four assists.

Position: Defender
Why chosen: Wilson finished with 27 caused turnovers and 41 ground balls.

Alivia Dove

Why chosen: Clark led the Honeybears to their third consecutive TGLA private school state championship, with Harpeth Hall defeating Ensworth 14-7 in the championship game. The Honeybears finished 21-2 and for the second straight year did not lose a match to an in-state school.
