How does UPS Access Point locker work? ›

You'll need to provide proof of identity at pick up, so bring a photo ID. Customers picking up from a UPS Access Point® will use the touchscreen kiosk at the locker to retrieve the package. To find a package, you can search by: Tracking number.

A UPS locker delivery is a service provided by UPS where packages are delivered to a designated locker instead of a physical address. The recipient is then provided with a unique code to access the locker and retrieve their package at their convenience.

If we missed you at home, your package may have been redirected to a UPS Access Point for safe holding and ready for you to pick it up at your convenience.

A UPS Access Point® is a secure location that allows for picking up or dropping off UPS packages. To use a UPS Access Point® for receiving parcels, either the shipper or receiver must send the shipment to a listed locker location.

Once they place the package inside the locker, the recipient is notified via email, SMS, or a mobile app. To retrieve the package, the recipient visits the locker at their convenience, uses the access code provided, scans a QR code, or connects to the locker with a mobile app.

The local post office determines how long a package can stay in a USPS parcel locker. Generally, they will keep it there for up to 10 days before returning it to the sender. International packages may be kept in parcel delivery lockers for up to 15 days.

Wait for notification.

You will receive another notification when it is delivered to your parcel locker. It will contain a pickup code (6 digits) and a QR code. Save them to pick up the package! Go to the parcel locker and scan the QR code sent in the message or in the application.

When a mail carrier is unable to fit a package into a standard mailbox slot, they will place your package in a parcel locker. Instead of having to be at home to receive your package, it will be right there waiting for you in a spacious locker where it won't get damaged.

How do I know which parcel locker is mine? ›

The parcel locker is used for items that are too large to fit in an individual box (compartment) within the Cluster Box. A key will be left in the mailbox to be used as a parcel locker key. This key has a tag that indicates the parcel locker that contains the item.
