As you plan for your arrival into Colorado and head to C Lazy U Ranch it is important to note that there is no horseback riding or guided activities on the day of arrival. Please plan accordingly and if your flight arrives early in Denver our concierge can recommend a number of things to enjoy as you venture west into the Rocky Mountains before our 3:00pm check-in time.

Hot Tub & Pool
Enjoy our oversized, family-friendly hot tub by the pool and Patio House—you’ll love the waterfall feature. Unlike the pool, which is open seasonally, the hot tub is open year-round and is perfect to relax those sore muscles after a day in the saddle.
The Ranch Store:
If you forget to pack something, don’t worry! You can always head to the ranch store, Luis’ Old Place, to pick up anything you may have missed. We have everything from toothpaste to the perfect boots for horseback riding.
Stay Hydrated:
C Lazy U Ranch is at an altitude of 8,200 feet, which can contribute to dehydration. We provide all guests with reusable water bottles to fill with the fresh mountain spring water available throughout the ranch, but we suggest hydrating before coming to Colorado. 
All the Gear You Need:
For all of our various ranch activities such as fishing, mountain biking, tennis, trap shooting and archery, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and hockey, we have the gear you will need. If you are not sure whether or not to bring something, call the Ranch Concierge at 970-887-3344.
Prior to Arrival
Pack for All Weather
The ranch is beautiful in all seasons, but Colorado weather can be unpredictable. Pack layers, including long-sleeve shirts, jeans, raincoats and sweatshirts, that are easy to wear and carry out on the trail.
Don’t Forget Sunscreen & Sunglasses
There is approximately 25% less protection from the sun at this altitude so don’t forget these items—even in the winter!
