I am thrilled to announce that I successfully defended my PhD in Computer Science last Monday, earning a recommendation for Summa Cum Laude! 👩💻I want to express my gratitude to my supervisor, Prof. Spiliopoulou and to the esteemed committee members Pedro Pereira Rodrigues Ernestina Menasalvas Sanaz Mostaghim and Gunter Saake. 🙌Final and special thanks to Uli Niemann, who played a crucial role as my mentor throughout most of my PhD journey. He taugh me so much about visualizing complex data! 📊

Being a PhD candidate or working in academia is difficult. We rarely receive compliments on our work. Instead, we are constantly receiving critiques.
